My goal:

to have a platform where I can express my poetry, prayers, lyrics, music and even on occasion every day miracles or life learned lessons for the glory of God. I hope to make my site a place where other like minds can collaborate, share and sharpen one another. I want to post at least one song or poem a week.

WHO AM I???

I am a singer/song writer, wife to Matthew Crickard and mother of three children: Isaac (6), Hadassah (almost 4) Boaz (2) and Zephaniah (5months). Matthew and I met in 2008 at a music camp, we started dating in 2013 and we got married in 2017. I have performed solos, concerts and in choirs all my growing up. I have performed in competitions, recitals, for various events, for weddings and in church. I graduated from CU in 2015 with a BA in vocal performance and worship. My husband and I have performed duets together off and on our entire dating and married life, he also plays violin which we have incorporated into concerts and other events of various kinds. I took vocal lessons from various instructors from junior high through college: Faith Pencil and Dr. Mark Spencer to name a couple. I was coached by the Vocal Coach Roger Beale in the technique of proper "belting". I have attended Babbie Masons Inner Circle Conference for singers. I have been involved in back up choirs for Sandy Patty, Babbie Mason among others. I was an opener for a Richard Marx concert after winning a competition.

I am new to this whole website thing, but I want to see where God takes it. I have always performed and written, but never had a blog or website of my own. I'll take any tips from professional bloggers, poets or song writers as well. Thank you for considering working with me!

A little bit more on me...

I have always felt called by God to music ministry and He has always opened doors as long as I have been willing to walk through them. A good friend once told me: "sometimes you have to let it happen and sometimes you have to make it happen (singer and song writer Babbie Mason)." Recently, I have learned that where I am at in life is a season of  "make it happens" to produce doors of opportunity  which I will be able to then choose to "let happen" in accordance to Gods plan.

Sometimes our hesitations cost others their lives especially in the medical or spiritual fields, other times it costs us the life that we want. It just takes one ripple to make an affect on many and I want to be one of those positive ripples. He has given me the faith and motivation, all I need do is obey His lead. I am letting go of control, letting go of fear and just seeing what God does.
